We’ve added a Pricing Tool to help contractors, dealers, and specifiers build window and door quotes faster—with built-in conversion tools so you can work in inches or millimeters and always get accurate call numbers and totals.
What the Pricing Tool Does
The tool lets you add line items for windows and doors, set rough-opening (RO) dimensions, choose operation types (fixed, sliding XO/OX/OXO, casement, awning, hopper, tilt-turn, and others), and apply unit pricing. As you add or edit items, totals update automatically: Total Items, Total Sq Ft, Total Sq M, Avg Price / Sq Ft, Avg Price / Sq M, and Grand Total.
Your data is stored locally in your browser so you can leave and come back without losing your work.
Conversion Tools Built In
Inch / Millimeter
Switch dimension input between inch and mm at any time. The tool converts internally so you can work in the unit you prefer—whether you’re on an imperial spec or a metric project. All calculations stay consistent regardless of which unit you choose.
Rough Opening vs. Frame Size
Enter Rough Opening (RO) dimensions, and the tool calculates Frame Size (FS) automatically (RO − 0.5” per dimension in North American practice). FS drives the area used for pricing, so you get accurate sq ft and sq m totals.
Call Number (CN)
The Call Number uses the standard North American ft-in call size (e.g., 3068 = 3’0” × 6’8”). The tool derives CN from your RO dimensions—and because it rounds to whole inches before conversion, you get the same call number whether you enter dimensions in inches or millimeters. That keeps quotes and specs aligned across both systems.
Quick Load: Common Sizes
To speed things up, use Quick load to add common North American sizes with one click. Presets cover:
- Windows — Sliding (48×36, 60×48, 72×60, etc.), casement (24×48, 36×60, 36×72), awning (36×24, 48×24), and fixed (60×60, 72×72, 96×72)
- Doors — Sliding XO (30×80 through 96×80, plus tall 72×96, 96×96) and sliding OXO scenic (120×80 up to 192×96)
Each preset includes the operation type, so you add the right configuration without retyping.
